Philips Hue is expanding smart lighting outside series with a new model called A dimer both high and low beams, allowing for dramatic effects for the exterior (or interior) of your home. The lights have a black design and two individually controlled beams that allow you to set lighting and individual colors for each using the Philips Hue app. You can also use the app’s scene gallery to create a more cohesive look. The Dymera lights will be available on February 27 for $220.
Brand (now under the Signify umbrella) as well Philips Hue pendant cord ($50, February 2024) Designed to work with Philips Hue filament bulbs. The idea is to create a lighting function above the coffee or dining table, for example, with colors and light levels controlled by the Philips Hue app. It is 3D printed with bio-circular materials and comes in black or white and two sizes to best match your decor.
Both are new Perifo connectors ($35, April 2024) expands what you can do with track lighting. The Perifo T connector allows the rails to move in three different directions to light the room, with the Perifo flexible connector you have full control over the shape of the rail and allows the rails to move in any direction outside of the normal 90 degree angles.
Along with these new products, Philips has added three new color versions of the Philips Hue Go portable table lamp, adding new black and white color options to the Hue Being ceiling light. The company also announced that the Philips Hue Secure camera starter kit and the Philips Hue Secure projector camera are now available. This set includes a Philips Hue Secure wired camera, two Philips Hue Secure contact sensors, two Philips Hue bulbs and a Philips Hue Bridge to control all devices. Finally, Philips Hue says it will update its Hue app security center in the first half of 2024, adding push notifications, automatic light and sound alerts, and Alexa and Google Home compatibility.
