Amazon has improved it show it late last year to give it a sleeker design and faster Alexa responses, and you can get it for the lowest price we’ve ever hit. The third-generation, 2023 Echo Show 8 is 40 percent off at Amazon, bringing it down to just $90. It normally costs $150. The display comes in two colors, Charcoal and Glacier White, and the discount applies to both.

The It has brought improvements to the smart home gadget inside and out. It features spatial sound with room calibration that should produce a fuller sound than previous models could achieve. The improvements carry over to video calling, which benefits from sharper sound and a 13-megapixel camera.
Along with the 2023 Echo Show 8, Amazon debuted a new Adaptive Content feature that changes what’s displayed on the screen depending on where you are in the room. If you’re standing far away, it’ll display easily digestible information like the weather or news headlines in large font. As you get closer, it will go into a more detailed view. It can also reveal your favorite playlists and other content, showing personalized content to anyone registered with visual ID.
The Echo Show 8 also has a 40 percent faster response time for Alexa thanks to its improved processor. For privacy-conscious buyers, there’s a physical camera cover on the top of the device that’s controlled by a slider, so you know for sure he’s not peeking. There is also a button to turn off the microphone and camera.
