Understanding has been activated The Wednesday calendar app is adapted from Cron, the company’s calendar startup got it in 2022. Tight cross-platform integration will appeal to Notion’s “tens of millions” of users. Notion Calendar includes a built-in scheduler and makes it easy to integrate content from productivity ecosystem notes, documents, and project dates.
Notion Calendar lets you link Notion notes and other documents to meetings, turning the calendar invitation into an all-in-one hub for attendees to add or view supporting content. It also integrates with external tools like Google Calendar, Google Meet and Zoom.
Cron founder Raphael Schaad, who now leads the next iteration as Notion Calendar, describes the app as “a new way to manage your most valuable resource, your time.” In the video below, he demonstrates how you can quickly check a family member’s medical appointment and block it from your scheduler so your co-workers don’t double book you during that hour. Notion Calendar’s scheduler will let your colleagues (or anyone you share availability with) know when you’re unavailable, but they won’t see the details.
Notion Calendar requires a one-time sign-in with Google Calendar to set it up. However, Schaad he wrote At X today, the company is “suffering from Google Auth rate restrictions” and blocking access – what it describes as a “good” launch day issue. If you have trouble logging in, it waits for the problem to be resolved within the next day and advises you to check back later.
Notion Calendar supports the same languages as the entire platform. Today, Windows, Mac and iOS. While it won’t be significant at launch, Notion says Android support is coming “soon.” It also doesn’t yet support Office 365 or iCloud integration, though Schaad promises that’s on the company’s roadmap as well.
