While it’s not the first time the 694 has dropped to this price, it’s always worth a call, as it’s our top pick. . Easy to use thanks to three on-board buttons and the included iRobot app. There’s also Alexa and Google Assistant support, so you can tell the vacuum to start cleaning with a voice command.
You can set cleaning schedules so that the 694 regularly picks up any dirt in your home, and we found it did a solid job of removing dirt from carpets as well as hard floors. Battery life varies depending on the type of floor. According to iRobot, the device will run for up to 90 minutes when cleaning hardwood floors, but in our tests the battery lasted about 45 minutes when placed on several types of surfaces. Sure enough, when it’s time to charge, Roomba will return to its dock and juice up.

Roomba j9+ can detect and avoid common obstacles like cables and socks. Perhaps most importantly, it can detect pet waste. This model will also automatically empty the bin, which means you have less to worry about.
